Data Controller
The entity responsible for the collection, processing, and use of your personal data on this website within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
La Fontaine Sarmiento Egrowth
Udelbodenstrasse 66

General Data Collection
Even if you use our website for purely informational purposes (i.e., you do not fill out a form or accept cookies), your browser automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file.
The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:
IP address of the requesting computer
Date and time of access
Name and URL of the retrieved file
Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer
Purpose & Legal Basis
We process this data to ensure a smooth connection to the website, ensure system security and stability, and for administrative purposes. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / applicable FADP provisions).
Specific Data Processing (Third-Party Tools)
A. Google Services: Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4
Purpose of Processing
We use services provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google") to manage our website infrastructure and analyze visitor behavior.
Google Tag Manager (GTM): We use GTM to centrally manage and integrate tracking scripts and marketing tags (like analytics tools) onto our website. GTM itself acts only as a routing system; it does not set its own tracking cookies or build user profiles. However, to trigger these tags, GTM must establish a connection to Google's servers, which temporarily processes your IP address.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Dispatched via GTM, we use GA4 to understand how visitors interact with our website. GA4 uses cookies to collect information such as your device type, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. GA4 automatically anonymizes IP addresses by default, meaning your full IP address is never logged or stored.
Legal Basis & Consent
We only deploy the tracking cookies associated with Google Analytics if you have given us your explicit consent via our CookieYes banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / applicable FADP provisions). Google Tag Manager is configured to strictly respect your consent choices and will not fire non-essential scripts until you click "Accept." You can withdraw your consent at any time.
International Data Transfers
Information generated by these services, including your IP address, may be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google complies with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks (DPF), ensuring an adequate level of data protection for international transfers. For more information, please see Google’s Privacy Policy.
B. B2B Analytics & Firmographic Tracking: RB2B
Purpose of Processing
For our Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing and lead generation efforts, we use RB2B, a service provided by Retention.com (based in the United States). We use this tool to understand which companies are visiting our website.
Data Collected & Regional Restrictions
RB2B collects data such as your IP address and device information when you visit our site.
For Visitors from the EU and Switzerland: RB2B uses automatic geo-fencing. It will only process your IP address to perform a reverse-lookup against public databases to identify the company you work for (firmographic data). It does not identify you as an individual person, nor does it collect your personal email address or social media profiles.
For Visitors outside the EU/UK/Switzerland (e.g., US visitors): The service may match visitor data to public business profiles to identify individual B2B visitors.
Legal Basis & Consent
We only activate the RB2B tracking script if you explicitly grant consent for "Marketing" or "Advertisement" cookies via our cookie banner.
International Data Transfers
Because RB2B is a US-based company, your IP address is transferred to the United States for processing. We rely on your explicit consent for this transfer, and RB2B is bound by data processing agreements to ensure your data is handled securely and in compliance with EU and Swiss standards. For more details, please review RB2B's Privacy Policy.
C. Appointment Booking: Cal.com & Google Meet
Purpose of Processing
We offer the ability to book video consultation appointments directly on our website. For this scheduling, we use the service Cal.com, provided by Cal.com, Inc. (USA). Video calls are subsequently hosted via Google Meet, a service of Google Ireland Limited.
Data Collected
When you book an appointment, the data you enter into the Cal.com form (such as your name, email address, and the topic of the meeting) is collected and processed. Cal.com also sets strictly necessary technical cookies (such as CSRF tokens) to ensure your booking request is secure and to prevent fraudulent submissions. Your booking data is then shared with Google Meet to generate your unique video conference link.
Legal Basis
The processing of your data for scheduling is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, or to fulfill an existing contractual obligation with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / applicable FADP provisions). The deployment of Cal.com's technical security cookies is based on our legitimate interest in providing a safe and functioning booking environment.
International Data Transfers & Retention
Data entered into Cal.com and Google Meet may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. Both Cal.com, Inc. and Google comply with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks (DPF), and utilize standard contractual clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection. We retain your booking data only for as long as is necessary to conduct the meeting and fulfill any subsequent administrative or legal requirements. For more details, please review Cal.com's Privacy Policy.
Cookies & Consent Management
What are cookies?
Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, or similar) automatically with the help of your browser. They contain a unique identification number (an ID) and serve to make our website more user-friendly, secure, and effective. Cookies allow us to distinguish your browser and device from others. Depending on their purpose, cookies contain further information, such as the pages you access, your browsing behavior, and the duration of your visit.
How we manage consent
We use CookieYes as our Consent Management Platform to manage and log your cookie preferences. Our website is strictly configured to only load non-essential tracking scripts (like our Analytics and B2B Marketing tools) after you have explicitly clicked "Accept" on our cookie banner. You can change your preferences or withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer.
Data Retention & Security
Retention
We only store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy, or as long as we are legally obligated to do so. Once the purpose no longer applies or the legal retention period expires, your data will be routinely deleted or anonymized.
Security
We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption to ensure the secure transmission of data.
Your Data Privacy Rights
Under Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR, you are in control of your personal data. You have the right to:
Access: Find out exactly what personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to fix or update your data if it is wrong or incomplete.
Deletion: Ask us to erase your data, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Restriction: Ask us to temporarily limit how we use your data.
Portability: Get a digital copy of the data you gave us so you can transfer it elsewhere.
Withdraw Consent: Change your mind and withdraw your consent for cookies or tracking at any time.
Object: Say no to us processing your data based on our legitimate business interests.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at matias@lfmate.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to ensure it complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The most current version will always be available on this page.
